So Kit, Hippo, and I had a conversation and it came to paper butterflies because i was shearing paper sheep at that time and they were annoying me, fluttering everywhere. SO, we brainstormed on what they were for and it came to: someday in the future mabi will have a worldwide butterfly catching contest that paper butterflies will be caught and smoooodhed into the magic play writing machine to make new plays. and thus all mabi characters will look like this...
