Anime Discussion! wewt!

Okay! this thread has been missing for way too long, and I got tired of waiting fro some1 else to post it so here it is, a thread dedicated to anime and/or manga. I've seen a bunch, and read a few, and willing to try most anything short of sailor moon lol.
So to get things rolling what's your favorite anime/manga?

1.Angel Beats(beast thing since sliced bread i swear)
2. Clannad+After Story(first anime to make me cry..yep.)
3. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni+Kai( Delightfully evil and sadistic)
4. AzuManga Diaoh( Full of lolz)
5.FullMetal Alchemist(The Remake that actualy follows the manga, the other one isn't near as good =p)

xD well my favorite action anime has to be FullMetal Alchemist (the remake) and drama Clannad + Afterstory ;__; <.<>.> ( i told Dub to watch it) and well this is hard i like so many D8.... OH OH Black Cat <3 almost forgot how could i! I'll have to think about it more xD. also! Finally someone threads an anime discussion x3

ah Black cat, another good one, the manga anyways, the anime messes up the order of things and gets really hard to follow after reading the manga :<

Your favorite is a sports anime? o3o didn't see that coming. D.Gray man and Bleach would definitely be in my top 10 also tho i cant say I have heard of hell girl o3o

Yeah i love Eyeshield xD, I guess i just don't come off as a sporty type or whatever . hm if we are talking about manga..then really i don't have much of a type i love shonen as much as the next guy but shoujo books are good to, I don't have much of a preference cause if its funny its funny. Guess im weird like that... tho i guess top 5

ah lol, I see, something like detective conan would seem to suit you. Me personally, I'm not really into the whole "police inspector" or Sherlock Holmes type of stuff. For me if it's a mystery its best if there is lots of bloodshed behind it >:p

Lets see, there isn't very many indeed, you have already seen higurashi, some other good ones are "Monster" and "Umineko no naku koro ni" Umineko is pretty much a spinoff of higurashi, the ending irritates the crap outa me, and im still waiting for a second season lol. Those both can get pretty brutal, so I would advise caution,even though you have already seen higurashi =p

xD, hm... its just... monster i heard was not going anywhere so. Yeah really... thats what i was told anyways ill go check it out.

i love monster lol. i suppose there are some parts that seem to be going nowhere, but it was all enjoyable to me at least :>

hm... my friend (Jessica my anime consultant) just introduced me to a new anime, I'm not sure if its your style tho dub. So, I'm not gonna say the name first cause people might be insulted/scandalized as the anime is pretty graphic (IE. Awesome!!) and really its just all fan service xD.

So, Basic summary. Its your typical zombie apocalypse boy, girl, middle school, FAN SERVICE (for guys), boy killing best friend etc etc etc.

oh, haha, I've already seen it. It was rather disappointing for a zombie anime, and didn't really have an ending. And the romance story is a bit unrealistic, made me think the primary love interest was an idiot. Overall not bad, but it killed most of the things i watch a horror anime for. 6/10

Just finished, seriously the ending is a cliff hanger, but it continues on in the manga. Mind you the manga is more explicit (shrugs) but yeah. Seen any anime worth noting?

well, I found some other zombie themed anime's but nothing close to a zombie apocalypse, sorry to disappoint. And To Aru Majatsu no Index II looks like it's gonna be pretty good, and the first season is definitely worth the watch also. There is also a spin-off series based on one the main side characters, To Aru Kagaku no Railgun.

okay, I have decided we need a new topic thingy to discuss. SO!
What is your favorite genre of anime? Mine would be Tragedy, stuff that makes ya cry, why? because i enjoy a challenge, and the only anime that has beaten me so far is Clannad lol. They are much more moving than other types, especially if it is well done.

I feel like im in class lol, action, suspense, sports? I prefer the thinking type ones i guess.

So like, strategy stuff? that's pretty cool I guess. If i want to get my brain going i usually turn to psychological or mystery, but your work too =p

And we need more people to participate in this thread! D: where are all of our anime lovers?!?!

I think its just you and me mano, that or people arent paying attention/not going on guild forums... oh well maybe ill bug Cy into getting on this more...
